A couple of months ago, Laeti and Steven from Belgium rented a Chubby from us to travel from Cairns to Melbourne. As you can see in their pictures, they had a great time and would happily rent from us again!

Hi Peter,

We spoke to you on Saturday and Sunday regarding our Holden Commodore breaking down in Kakadu and taking it to Darwin. Just wanted to say thanks for the help as it was all sorted very quickly by Steve at Mechanix and Patrick agreed to pay for the part!

If you can pass on my thanks to Patrick and Steve i’d be very grateful. All of you guys have provided excellent service in the face of our problem and it was very much appreciated.

Here’s to a hopefully trouble free next 2 months!

Many thanks again,

Phil Dickenson

A lot of travellers make a stop in Brisbane when travelling the East coast. Who wouldn’t?, it has heaps of activities, restaurants and attractions! However, if you want to literally look “at” Brisbane, you must head to Mount Coot-tha. The mountain, also locally known as Mount Coot, is approximately 287 high so  depending on the time and energy you have to spare, you can get up to the look-out by bus, foot or mountain bike.

Backpacker car dumping before fleeing country causes $600,000 parking, towing fees

This article was in the Daily Telegraph on the 10th of March.

MORE than $600,000 in parking fees and towing costs is owed on the dozens of cars that have been dumped at Sydney Airport.

But payment is unlikely to be made as those who abandoned the vehicles are usually backpackers who have tried to sell the car and then left it at the airport – where it can be unnoticed for months – as they leave the country.
