We all know that Australia itself is a massive country… but it is also home to massive “things”. From animals and fruits to absolute randomness, Australia has over 150 “Big Things”.
Surprisingly, these tourist traps do have a story behind them and do attract visitors. Some backpackers even make it their own personal mission to visit them all whilst traveling around Oz!

My “secret”, vegetable juice, preferably the original V8. And if you’re lucky enough to be in Canada, then Clamatto juice! Read on and see what Menz has to say then tell us what your secret is!

We always read about the best restaurants, best hotels, best sceneries around the world…but we all know that travelling, and especially backpacking, is not always easy breezy. Tourism Minister Peter Lawlor said the 64-page Backpacking Queensland guide would be a welcome tool for backpackers exploring Queensland.
“The guide is the first of its kind to be produced, and we hope it will become an essential that every backpacker travelling in Queensland will have in their back pocket,” Mr Lawlor said.

There’s nothing worse than being trapped overseas. Wait, that’s not right. There’s nothing better than being trapped overseas.
Who are these people who whinge about having their travel plans disrupted and being forced to stay in their destination for a few more days? It’s your holiday. String it out for as long as you can.
