We might be about as far from the North Pole as you can get but when you get down to it Christmas in Australia is pretty much the same as Christmas anywhere around the world. We all get together around the table, we eat too much, we drink too much, we spend precious time with family members who we spend the rest of the year avoiding and best of all this year we have the added bonus of flogging the Poms all over the MCG on Boxing Day!
