4WD's with Buyback

Australia has over 900,000 kms of road, stretching across one of the largest continents in the world. Of this nearly one million kilometres of road, only 300,000km's is sealed: the rest consists of unsealed road and tracks.
Bear in mind that in the Outback when someone refers to an unsealed road or a track, often they mean that someone -usually after a couple of beers- has driven a bulldozer between two points and called it a road.

For this reason, and for many others, if you are contemplating a trip in Australia that will take you into the Outback, or off road into adventure and wilderness terrain, you should always consider a 4WD vehicle. Tough enough to handle the most difficult conditions and to ensure that you are never stranded by creeks swollen by sudden flooding, or bogged in heavy mud, or caught in the dust drifts of the central deserts.

Toyota Landcruiser 4 Wheel Drive vehciles have proved themselves time and time again in the harsh and trying conditions of the Australian Outback. Pull into any town in the Australian countryside and, lined up in front of the pub, you will see that almost all of the 4WD's parked there are Toyota Landcruisers: Aussie Bushmen just wouldn't trust anything else.

At Travellers Auto Barn we have a selection of Toyota Landcruisers for sale. From the standard 'no frills' bushies version, through to the luxury of the Bushcamper Model.

Whichever model you decide upon, you will be guaranteed to have the sort of exciting action-packed adventure that you have dreamed about in one of these rugged machines.

Standard 4WD

The standard model Toyota Landcruiser is a manual 5 speed transmission sitting on top of a 4.2 Litre Diesel Engine that is powerful enough to haul two-four adults up and down the toughest country in the southern hemisphere. This vehicle can be fitted out with a bed (that comfortably sleeps two adults) and turned into a modest camping vehicle that will offer the more independent travellers an ideal way of traversing the wilds of Australia.

Throughout the year we have a number of these vehicles in stock at our Sydney Showroom as they are always a very popular choice. If you would like more details of the Toyota Landcruisers we currently have in stock, including some pictures of these vehicles and their prices, please email us for the details: 4WD Sales Enquiry

Other 4x4 Wheel Drive Vehicles

We also have a variety of other 4x4 Wheel Drive vehicles in stock at any given time. These may include Holden Jackaroos or Nissan Patrols (pictured, below). While these vehicles may not be as well known to the travellers from overseas as the Landcruiser, they are still very tough, reliable vehicles. They are slightly cheaper than the Landcruiser, and in the case of the Holden Jackaroo - smaller engine size - only 4 cylinders.
