I hired a Hitop campervan from Travellers Autobarn with 2 of my friends to travel up the East Coast for 3 weeks. We started off in Sydney and made our way up the beautiful coastline. Our first stop was Byron Bay! We pulled up close to the beach and were glad we had decided to rent the hitop as there was plenty of backpackers walking around with their backpacks on trying to find accommodation and we had beds in the back of our van! Hi there, My trip with the Travellers Auto Barn Chubby was just awesome. The car was brandnew and had a cool design. We drove from Melbourne down to the Great Ocean Rd (12 Apostels etc.) The sunset was just stunning and it is a really nice drive all along the coast to Apollo Bay or furhter back to Melbourne. On the way back to Melbourne you pass Bells Beach, where the famous surf movie Point Break (Keanue Reeves and Patrick Swayze)was shot. You can watch some really good surfer there.
