How to Hire a Campervan With Us for a Byron Bay Road Trip

Aerial of Byron Bay

Booking a campervan with us is super easy. Whether you choose to collect from Brisbane or Sydney, just pop in your travel dates, pick the vehicle that suits your plans, and confirm your booking. On pick-up day, our team will run you through everything you need to know and send you on your way with maps, travel tips, and friendly advice to get the most from your road trip.

How Much Does it Cost to Rent a Campervan for Byron Bay?

Prices vary depending on your travel dates and trip length. If you’re starting your road trip from Sydney, keep in mind you’re covering more kilometres, but you’ll also be able to see more of the East Coast! Shoulder season rates (May to September) are generally cheaper, and all of our rentals include unlimited kilometres, so you don’t have to worry about extra distance charges.

The type of campervan you choose, will also affect pricing. Smaller vans like our Chubby Camper are great if you’re on a tighter budget, while something bigger like the Hi-5 Camper offers you extra space and features, but this naturally means a higher cost. One way to save money is by travelling during the shoulder seasons of May to September and taking advantage of free and low-cost campsites around Byron Bay. Whatever you choose to do, all of our campervan rentals come with free unlimited kilometres and 24/7 road assistance, so there’s no need to worry about extra costs once you’ve hit the road. To get a better idea of pricing, get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote.
