Buying FAQs

What happens if I buy a car online or via email and I don’t like it?2022-04-08T14:10:13+10:00

We try our very hardest to ensure that you make the right choice the first time, even if you’re buying a car you’ve never even seen. In addition, every warranty car comes with a Three-Day Money Back Guarantee. Consider the first three days a test drive. If you aren’t happy, bring the car back for a full refund.

Can I get a list of cars for sale?2022-04-08T14:12:42+10:00

You can either email us when you have a certain vehicle type in mind or visit our car & campervan online sales stock list.

Please note – due to Covid19 – we have sold the majority of our stock in 2020 & 2021. We only have stock available out of Melbourne, Brisbane & Perth…

How much does petrol cost?2022-04-08T14:13:07+10:00

If you’re coming from Europe, you’ll find our petrol prices quite affordable. Unleaded fuel is currently $1.35 – $1.85/litre in populated areas, and leaded and diesel are each within $.05. In more remote areas, petrol prices do rise and they follow the laws of supply and demand. However, even in the most remote areas it’s still about half price when compared to European prices.

Do I need to carry spare parts for the car?2022-04-10T03:28:03+10:00

You might want to carry a couple of hoses or belts, but unless you are mechanically minded these won’t do you any good. Always carry plenty of spare water – especially if you are planning to travel in Western Australia or the Northern Territory!

All our vehicles come with 24 hour road side assistance. On top of this, you can count on the generosity of the Australians to help you out of a bind.

Is it legal for people who are not Australian residents to own a car?2022-04-08T14:15:20+10:00

There is no problem for visitors to Australia to own a car. You still need to follow the Australia road rules and we highly recommend an international driving license if you are planning to buy a car…

Do I need a special license?2022-04-02T16:46:52+11:00

You may travel with a valid international drivers license, or any full, valid license from your country of residence. A translation of your national drivers license may be required.

How many people can fit in each vehicle?2022-04-02T16:47:28+11:00

Seat belts are mandatory in Australia. The number of passengers depends on the number of seat belts – which depends on the vehicle. Driving/riding in a car without a seatbelt or driving with more passengers than seatbelts each result in on the spot fines.
