While it may seem like Moore River Bridge Rest Stop is simply a place to pull in for a quick break, the controlling authority (Main Roads Western Australia) have actually permitted the use of the site for overnight stays, so it’s a good choice if you’re looking for somewhere basic to catch some z’s before heading onto the next leg of your journey the following morning.

In terms of facilities, things are pretty basic but there are toilets, rubbish bins and picnic tables for you to use. The only thing you need to keep in mind, however, is that there is only space for six campervans or camper trailers, so it’s worth getting here early to grab a space.

It’s also dog friendly, and you’ll be in close proximity to to Pinjarra Town Centre, which offers you the opportunity to eat at some great restaurants, including Pinjarra Fish & Chip Shop.
